Too Chicks Bistro Is Bringing 'Fly Dining' to NoDa |
The sister-owned restaurant plans an all-day menu with brunch favorites, dinner plates and a relaxed take on elevated dining. |

NoDa is getting a new all-day restaurant from sisters Thommy and Brandy White.
Too Chicks Bistro is expected to open in November at 416 E. 36th Street, in the former MaBí space across from The Ugly.
The sisters describe the concept as “fly dining” — food with an elevated feel without the formality that usually comes with fine dining.
What’s on the menu
Too Chicks plans to serve breakfast, brunch and dinner daily.
Brunch dishes are expected to include chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, breakfast bowls and tacos.
Dinner will move into more composed plates such as braised sea bass and Tuscan chicken, along with desserts.
The restaurant is also developing a cocktail menu that fits the playful side of the concept, with names such as “Chick Please” and “Chick on the Side” already being teased ahead of opening.
An all-day NoDa option
The planned hours are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, giving the neighborhood one restaurant that can move from breakfast and brunch into dinner and a later evening crowd.
That flexibility could help the concept stand out in a neighborhood already packed with bars, music venues, breweries and restaurants.
